Would you rent a property someone has died in?

I have just started investing in property and i have found a little flat that seems like a winner anyway i was there the other day when a family friend happened to be walking past and she mentioned that a lovely elderly man she knew quite well had died several years ago on the kitchen floor and even pointed out the spot!! anyway i have hesitation on weather this smallish town might all know or if a potential renter asks do i fib and pretend to know nothing but im not really into lying, hmmmm not sure what to do? would you ask that question to the landlord when looking at a house to rent?
