Nearly 13 year old boy cries like a baby and I need advice..other than beating his @$$?

Take drastic measures. Clear out your living room of all electronics. Take everything out of his room except a bed, some clothes, and his homework. Tell him he isn't aloud to eat your food unless he can learn to was the dish he eats from OR give him 1 fork, spoon, bowl, plate, and cup and DON'T wash it and that's all he will have to eat off of. If he wants a clean plate he will have to wash it. Take everything away so he has no choice but to get up and do his homework, chores, or go outside. He does sound whiney. If he wants to act like a baby treat him like one in every way except changing his diaper. As a matter of fact take away his underwear and buy him diapers, tell him straight if he is going to act like a baby you will treat him like one. Make him go to time out when he back talks. Seriously it will suck but treat him like a baby and take everything away. Stop doing his laundry, if he wants clean clothes he can do it himself. Feed him dinner like a baby, or he won't eat at all. Im telling you take drastic measures, but don't hit him even though i know every bone in your body wants to. It might take a couple weeks but he will get the picture and maybe grow up a little bit.
