I am in the stages of developing a medical device that is simple, but I need help with it for instance if :?

For instance if your lungs ever stopped suddenly or your heart, either while you are sleeping most prominenty or walking around the world doing your daily routine, more so while asleep though , and for instanace you had a heart rate monitor on as well lungs , (to constuct ones self) that when ever the lungs or heart stopped at least an alarm would go off , warning everybody in the house so they maybe could call medical , only for a beggining at least , it would be better to have one that called the emergency telephone numbers for assistance like a security system does when the alarm goes off to catch the attack in time. Now I am a skilled individual and not very stupid and I think that it looks very easy to get to work I just want more ideas and or maybe people I could keep in touch with about the idea for furhter development, of other talented individuals but if anyone out there has the know how of the simple construction (I am even skilled in electronics) on how to get the thing to work or any advice or ideas ,or perhaps know of any companys that develope medical equipment for a living that might work, please help, I only want it for experimental and developemental purposes and is by no means going to be considered medical grade eqiupment in a real emergency to save someones life if that was at all a concern. , But am interested int the idea and want to build one to maybe study if it perhaps maybe could have any lifesaving applications for anyone of any age, like an Ive fallen and I cant get up necklace alarm or something(they came out a while back) . I consider the idea in my head sort-of like those breathe rate and heart rate monitors they use in polygraph machines except for they are used to make an alarm go off if anything stops, as well maybe a breathing and rhythmic recording could well suffice as well so that the patient could be studied aftrer to help better asses the individual , or if there is something like that made allready allready and you know it please help this is what I want to know and how to build it, thankyou very much
