How difficult is it in reality to transfer from an Army Reserve Officer position to a full time position?

I am currently in my last 18 months of uni but my partner is about to start a nursing degree and is obliged to do her first year on campus rather than by distance ed, so I do not want to force her to move. This means I couldn't go to Duntroon until the end of 2012. If I were to enter Reserves as an officer and complete my FAC and ROBC, how difficult would it be to transfer to full time service and how much extra training would I need to do? Looking for an answer without the DFR fibs. Cheers.
