Are McCain and Palin still Mavericks? Or was that a fib to get you to vote for the wrong side?

They never were real mavericks.A maverick is "One that refuses to abide by the dictates of or resists adherence to a group; a dissenter." You can't be in the Republican, Democratic or Tea Party and think you are going to get their support if you fight against everything they stand for. Fib, no. I think they really believe that they lead by shaking up their established base, and to get people to vote for the "I'm a new alternative". Sounded great. They used it a lot to the point of it being a joke. Palin still uses it today. However, because she is mad at the Republicans she is going to get behind Ron Paul and the Tea Party; which is a wing of the Republican party.
